When your cruise ship docks at the Civitavecchia port, you'll be picked up and driven by coach to Rome, about an hour away (duration may change depending on traffic conditions), for your full-day shore excursion.

Arrive in St Peter's Square, home to world-famous St Peter's Basilica, the largest church and one of the holiest Catholic sites in the world. Hop out and follow your knowledgeable guide along the cobbled streets of Italy's ancient capital, learning about the its fascinating history and heritage along the way.
